Nanta Performance
Start the tour by watching the most popular musical in Korea - Nanta. It tells the simple story of chefs that are on a wedding banquet deadline. Almost non-verbal in nature, Nanta makes use of traditional Korean samul nori music performed by the actors improvised through kitchen utensils such as knives and cutting boards. The show, which has been running since October of 1997 in Korea, has achieved outstanding international success, having performed on Broadway and toured around the U.S. and the rest of the world.
After the show, we'll explore Insa-dong street, an important place located in the heart of the city, where old but precious and traditional goods are on display. Within the alleys of this street, there are galleries, traditional restaurants, tea houses and cafes.
